The area is renowned for its magnificent scenery, wide variety of indigenous fauna and flora as well as  animal and marine life which include the extremely rare Brenton Blue Butterfly, a variety of bush buck, plentiful bird life, whale, dolphin and very famous Knysna seahorse to name a few.      

 The  main city center of  Knysna is a short drive (9 miles / 15km) from the  property and 40 miles/ 70km) from George Airport which is serviced by  multiple airlines daily from across the country.  It is a short 55  minute flight from Cape Town International Airport.  

The area offers lots of activities and attractions for all tastes including several waterfront dining and shopping venues, hiking, sailing, boat rides, wine tours, elephant tours, marine tours, zip-lining, forest trails, river rafting, cycling, surfing, kayaking, etc.
